The Hervey Bay Hospital Emergency Department Redevelopment included the construction and fit-out of a new three-story Emergency Department Building and associated external works, more than doubling the existing capacity.

To meet the growing demands of the Fraser Coast community the new facility delivers 125 additional car parks and a new larger helipad almost doubles the number of emergency beds and triples the amount of ambulance bays.

The Apex Masonry solution

Apex Masonry was involved in the supply of Honed Architectural Blocks for the ambulance bay redevelopment and over 670m2 of Grey Block was supplied for retaining walls in the carpark expansion and helipad upgrade.
